Mike Hannan is an entrepreneur, best-selling author, keynote speaker, and innovator of industry-leading techniques to drive unprecedented improvements in IT project portfolio performance.
His background in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) started at NASA in the early 1990s supporting large, complex initiatives such as the International Space Station. He has managed and consulted on $1B+ project portfolios, and is lead author of the recent book, The CIO’s Guide to Breakthrough Project Portfolio Performance.
Mike serves on the board of PM4Change—organizer of the “PM Day of Service,” the largest PM pro-bono event in the history of humankind. He also served on the board of the PMI Washington DC Chapter.
On the personal side, Mike is a 2015 national champion track & field athlete, and a happily married father of three teenage boys.

CEO and President
With over 20 years of experience in the federal government and as a consultant, Kendall Lott is the CEO/President of M Powered Strategies, Inc, a change management consulting firm in Washington DC that supports organizations within the U.S. Government. His professional background includes government service at the Departments of Agriculture and Justice, as well as service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Federated States of Micronesia.
A certified Project Management Professional, and a Gallup certified StrengthsFinder Coach, he has served as a volunteer with Washington DC Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMIWDC) for over a decade, and was an active member of the board for 8 years. His volunteer roles include executive management as he has been the COO and CEO of PMIWDC, and the Executive Director of the Project Management Day of Service. Most recently, he has been the creator and host of the PM Point of View Podcast®.
Mr. Lott holds a Master of International Affairs from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University, Bloomington.
Laura, Founder and CEO of PMO Strategies, has spent more than 20 years creating impactful and sustainable change for a broad range of organizations, from nonprofits to global financial institutions. She combines her deep experience in the PMO and Change Management space with her passion for helping people create effective and sustainable change to transform how organizations realize business strategy.
