Held annually on or near Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and celebrating a National Day of Service, we proudly hosted our fifth annual PMDoS event with enormous success. Hundreds of volunteers from nonprofit organizations and the project management discipline benefited from the face-to-face opportunity to give and receive real-time project support to achieve their most pressing initiatives. The event was kick started by nonprofit success stories from CareerCatchers and Asian American Center of Frederick that led into the day of service. Following the event, testimonials of the day were provided by both nonprofits and volunteers, all which were astounding positive! We look forward to seeing everyone again next year. This event was hosted in partnership with the University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence, Points of Light, and local D.C.-area PMI Chapter representation.
