Project Management Day of Service®

Washington, D.C. Region

Sponsorship Prospectus

In Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Saturday, January 19, 2019

Starting with our first event in 2015, PMDoS events have now paired over 1,000 project managers with more than 300 Nonprofit Organizations.

On January 16, 2017 we received the “Daily Point of Light Award” signed by President George H.W. Bush, honoring individuals and groups that best exemplify voluntarism in the U.S. in communities across America.

What is PMDoS?

The Project Management Day of Service (PMDoS) is a community outreach event, at which dedicated project managers provide pro-bono project management services to nonprofit organizations. PMDoS is the signature event of Project Management for Change, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to unleash the boundless potential of the Project Management profession to empower and transform communities around the world. The 2019 DC-area event will be hosted at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.

Our annual PMDoS events have raised the profile of the project management profession, garnering awards and attention from two U.S. Presidents, the Department of Commerce, and the Small Business Administration.
