Beth is a leadership expert, certified Project Management Professional, and seasoned public speaker. During her distinguished career as a government contractor, she made significant contributions to mission-critical programs for defense, intelligence, and civil agencies in the U.S. and beyond. In addition, she has extensive experience with capture management, proposal development, and negotiations for government contracts.
With an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering and a graduate degree in Computer Science, Beth possesses a strong technical foundation complemented by exceptional management skills. Her specialties include budgeting and forecasting, risk and opportunity management, change management, and process improvement, and she is trained in agile methodologies.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Beth is an active volunteer in her community. Her civic activities include running Project Management for Change, mentoring and inspiring the next generation as the co-founder of Engineering Explorer Post 1010 where she coaches a team of high school students for the UAS4STEM competition, and voice-over artist for the Historical Society of Mount Airy, Maryland. Beth is also an award-winning Toastmaster and serves in leadership roles for her Toastmasters club and district.

Laura is an International Keynote Speaker, Trainer, and Business Advisor. She has been a driving force behind the integration of Project Management Organizations (PMOs) and Project Management into organizational strategy for 25 years. Starting in 1999 with the creation of her first PMO, she spent 15 years as a PMO and strategy delivery leader, gaining invaluable experience in driving sustainable change within organizations. Over the past decade, her company PMO Strategies has been dedicated to helping organizations maximize their returns on investment by unleashing the full potential of project management and PMOs. Laura has developed a powerful system for helping organizations achieve high impact outcomes for every project.
In 2021, Laura was named the World PMO Influencer of the Year, the only award of its kind, by the PMO Global Alliance, for her many accomplishments in positioning the PMO as the most valuable strategic asset for organizations to deliver their strategy. Mike is an entrepreneur, best-selling author, keynote speaker, and innovator of industry-leading techniques to drive unprecedented improvements in project portfolio performance.
His background in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) started at NASA in the early 1990s supporting large, complex initiatives such as the International Space Station. He has managed and consulted on $1B+ project portfolios, and is lead author of the 2014 book, The CIO’s Guide to Breakthrough Project Portfolio Performance.
On the personal side, Mike is a national champion track & field athlete, and a happily married father of three young adults.
