2026 Sponsors
PMDOS Sponsorship
Support the Washington, D.C. Regional Project Management Day of Service (PMDOS) as a sponsor and help empower local nonprofits through impactful project management. Sponsoring PMDOS provides valuable visibility for your organization, with your logo featured on event materials, our website, and social media channels. Your contribution directly supports mobilizing volunteers and nonprofits, driving meaningful change in local communities. Join us in fostering collaboration and making a lasting social impact.
PMDOS events provide nonprofits with pro bono (free, professional) project management services to help them address their most difficult challenges. We do this by bringing together local project managers (PM volunteers) with nonprofits who are passionate about serving their communities. The PM volunteers help the nonprofits to scope and plan projects that enable the nonprofits to do more to serve their communities.
What is the Project Management Day of Service (PMDOS)?
How does PMDOS Work?
Each nonprofit is paired with a team of experienced project managers through a “matching” process. Additional subject matter experts (SMEs) from various professions (e.g., marketing, finance, technology, etc.) may also be available for consultation as needed. Project managers and nonprofit representatives spend one or more days (depending on the location of the event) scoping and planning a project to address a critical need of the nonprofit, and the nonprofit leaves with an actionable plan.
What types of nonprofits attend PMDOS?
Nonprofits’ needs that are addressed at PMDOS range from strategic to tactical, operations to administrative, and human to technical. They cover topics such as marketing/branding, volunteer recruitment, fundraising, grant writing, and event planning. PMDOS attracts a wide variety of nonprofits from multiple sectors including, but not limited to: Youth Development; Veterans Support; Art; Culture; Education; Health and Wellness; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM); Mental Health and Substance Abuse Recovery; Foreign Affairs and National Security; Agricultural Development; and Public and Social Benefit.
