Pro Bono Services for Nonprofits

Project Management for Change is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in the DC area to help organizations specifically like yours achieve your most important goals.

Our mission is to unleash the boundless potential of the project management profession to empower and transform communities around the world.

We want to transform communities by enabling stronger, more efficient and effective nonprofit organizations. By using best practices in project management, we inspire, enhance and guide the day-to-day work of nonprofit organizations to make their community services viable.

Unfortunately, many nonprofits cannot afford to hire full-time project managers to come in and run their projects for the organization, and that's where we come in. We work specifically with nonprofits that need help to launch their initiatives and we do it all FREE to you, using experienced project management professionals that are passionate about making a difference in the communities they live and work in.

By joining with Project Management for Change (PM4C), your nonprofit will be able to receive pro bono professional services from your local project managers. We personally take the time to match every nonprofit with the right project manager(s) during our events, who will provide you with the necessary guidance to further your cause.

We also work with our global partners to teach them how to match their non-profits to the right project manager, enabling them to host their own Project Management Day of Service events around the world.

Project Management Day of Service 2018 - Washington, DC

The Project Management Day of Service seeks to empower non-profit organizations around the world, by connecting them with project management professionals to advance their goals. At the DC18 PMDoS event, 400+ project managers will be paired with 100-200 nonprofits to discuss and diagnose a critical challenge that the nonprofits are facing, and then scope out a project to help address and overcome the issue.

Our project managers enable optimal results from your scarce resources through:

• Increased focus on specific and achievable outcomes
• More efficient execution
• Strategies to reduce cost and risk
• Coaching on how to get to the finish line

On the Project Management Day of Service you can:

• Get FREE support on your most pressing project, just in time for the new year!
• Get guidance to help you plan your project, leaving the event with all the materials you created to keep your project moving forward
• Raise awareness for your non-profit
• Network with other non-profits
• Discover new resources
• Get access to tools and resources to support your non-profit, that will help you for years to come

Our project managers aim to help your organization accomplish its community service goals.

Let us help you, as you help the community you serve!

The event is taking place from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm at the University of Maryland

(inside the beltway) on MLK Day, January 15, 2018.

Don't worry if you already have an event planned for the day - all you need to do is send one person that can talk about your project and we will help you get it started (or get unstuck) so you can increase your community impact for 2018!
