The DC PMDoS 2017 event is on January 16, 2017 – Martin Luther King Day, a national day of service - at the University of Maryland, College Park Campus, Adele H. Stamp Student Union from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Help us spread the word!Spread the Word!


We need over 100 volunteers to work with nonprofit organizations at DC PMDoS 2017. Your colleagues and friends do not have to be a member of PMI or PMP certified to volunteer, but they do need to understand Project Management principles. Volunteers are required to attend a one-hour training webinar prior to the event to provide direction on working with nonprofits to complete the scoping exercise and make PMDoS a productive day

"PMDoS Around the World" Update
The PMI Queensland Chapter (PMIQLD) in Australia is hosting its first PMDoS event – “Brisbane PMDoS 2016!”  It will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 -- International Project Management Day -- with a goal of 26 teams.  The PMDoS Global and Playbook Team works with other organizations seeking to host PMDoS events using the PM4Change Playbook as
 a template and guide. The Team is also working with New York City and Hampton, Roads, Virginia, PMI chapters who have signed agreements with PM4Change to become members and have exclusive access to the Playbook. Their events are also planned for Martin Luther King Day, January 16, 2017!.  Join hands to support our members and volunteer to become a PMDoS Global Mentor!

PMDoS Global Team Report

The PMI Queensland Chapter’s (PMIQLD) first PMDoS event – “Brisbane PMDoS 2016!” is only 4 days away -- on Friday, November 4, 2016 -- International Project Management Day!  They have reached their goal of supporting 24 Nonprofit organizations with over 107 participating in the Day of Service event!  A mighty feat of project management organization, collaboration and FUN!  PMDoS New York City is churning along as well!  Another well-organized team of project managers, their PMINYC PMDoS2017 web page is up and accepting volunteer and NPO registrations, and their fundraising site is open for business!  Not to be outdone, PMI Hampton Roads is working on their venue selection and continuing their planning.  PM4Change also just received an expression of interest from the PMI Pikes Peak Regional Chapter, Colorado, as well so PMDoS continues to GROW!
